LISA has firmly established herself as a global superstar this year. The K-Pop idol released three successful solo singles and is preparing to launch her debut solo full-length album in the coming months. In a new interview with Billboard, where she made history as the first artist to appear on all of its global covers, LISA confirmed BLACKPINK’s return in 2025 and shared insights into her debut album.

Discussing the beloved group, LISA expressed her excitement for the 2025 comeback, telling Billboard, “I can’t wait.” Earlier this year, YG Entertainment announced plans for BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated return, sending fans into a frenzy. The group’s last album, Born Pink, was released in 2022 and was a massive success, featuring hit singles like “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down.” The album’s Born Pink World Tour also set records as the highest-grossing concert tour by a female group.

Since that success, all four BLACKPINK members have focused on solo projects. ROSÉ will be the first to release her debut studio album, Rosie, scheduled for December 6th, and LISA might follow soon after. Recently, LISA shared two teasers for her upcoming music. As she gears up for her debut album, LISA told Billboard she does not plan to launch a solo tour until the album is complete. “It’s so embarrassing to say this,but I listen to my album. I’m trying to figure it out, the track list and everything, what I can change in there,” she shared with Billboard. “Everything’s there, I think they’re going to be shocked at how capable I am [at] doing so many things.”
