Madison Beer has officially reached a milestone more than a decade in the making. Earlier this week, “Bittersweet” debuted at No. 98 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the singer-songwriter’s first-ever entry on the chart. Shortly after the news broke, Beer reacted with a mix of humor and gratitude, writing, “It’s so cool. Thank you. it only took me 15 years.

“Bittersweet” has been gaining momentum for months, becoming one of Beer’s most successful releases to date. The track has recently surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, a significant milestone that helped propel its Hot 100 debut. Recorded for her third studio album, Locket, the song captures the emotional clarity and restraint that define Beer’s current artistic phase. She co-wrote and co-produced the track with One Love, alongside Madi Yanofsky and Jon Robert Hall.

“Bittersweet” arrived on October 10, 2025, serving as the third single from Locket, following “Make You Mine” and “Yes Baby.” Over the following weeks, the song gained significant traction, leading to its Hot 100 debut.

That momentum carried into the release of Locket, which arrived yesterday, January 17, to strong early reception. The album debuted inside the top ten on the U.S. iTunes chart and has drawn praise for its focused tracklist and Beer’s artistic maturity.

Looking ahead, Beer is preparing to bring this new era to the stage. She has officially announced the Locket Tour 2026, her most ambitious tour to date. The two-leg international run will span Europe and North America, kicking off May 11 in Krakow, Poland, and concluding July 13 in New York.
