Marina has officially revealed the full tracklist for her upcoming album, Princess of Power, which will be released on June 6. The project marks a significant new chapter for the singer-songwriter, as it will be her first independent album following her departure from Atlantic Records in 2021. The upcoming LP will be Marina’s sixth studio album and her first since Ancient Dreams in a Modern Land (2021). Fans have already heard a few glimpses of the new era, including the singles “Butterfly,” “Cupid’s Girl,” and most recently, “Cuntissimo.”

In a recent interview with Plastik Magazine, the 39-year-old singer explained that the project is “very playful” and features character-driven songs, though in a different style from her 2012 album Electra Heart. She hinted that while the new album stays rooted in her familiar pop, electropop, and synth-pop sounds, it will also explore fresh creative directions.
