Sabrina Carpenter has made chart history in the UK once again. With her new single “Manchild,” she becomes the fastest international female artist this century to earn four UK No. 1 singles, surpassing the previous record held by Ariana Grande.

Released on June 5 via Island Records, “Manchild” debuted at No. 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart. It joins a streak of chart-toppers that includes “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste”—all from her Grammy-winning album Short n’ Sweet. Together, these singles make Sabrina the fastest solo female artist—since Madonna in the 1980s—to achieve four UK No. 1s.

This isn’t the first time Sabrina has dominated the UK charts. In 2024, she joined Madonna and Ariana Grande as one of the only female artists to hold the top two spots on the UK Singles Chart. She also became one of the few artists to self-replace at No. 1—doing so twice.

Now, the 26-year-old pop star is entering a bold new era. “Manchild” serves as the lead single from her upcoming seventh album, Man’s Best Friend, set for release on August 29. The album follows the monumental success of Short n’ Sweet and is expected to be one of the biggest releases of 2025.
