Originally released in August 2024, Short n’ Sweet has shown remarkable staying power. Upon release, the LP spawned three UK No. 1 hits: “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste.” Boosted by the release of its deluxe edition—featuring the hit single “Busy Woman”—in February 2025, the album returned to No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and has spent a total of five weeks at the top spot, three of them this year. In June, the project made history when it surpassed Ed Sheeran’s = to become the solo studio album with the longest consecutive Top 5 streak in UK Official Albums Chart history, clocking in at 43 straight weeks in the Top 5.
Trailing Sabrina is Ed Sheeran’s +–=÷× (Tour Collection) at Number 2 with 216,000 units, followed by Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years – Don’t Stop and The Weeknd’s The Highlights. Meanwhile, Chappell Roan’s debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess lands at Number 6, with SZA’s SOS just behind at 7. Elton John’s Diamonds, Charli XCX’s BRAT, and Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft round out the Top 10.
