Sophie Powers has teamed up with rising Korean girl group ILLIT to release a new version of their viral track “jellyous,” originally featured on ILLIT’s mini‑album BOMB, which dropped in June 2024. In this refreshed rendition, the K-pop group’s energetic hooks and dance-driven rhythms meet Sophie’s cool and candid vocals.

Since its initial release, “jellyous” has become a standout hit thanks to its catchy chorus and pulsating beat. The song quickly went viral on social media, fueled by dance challenges and fan-made videos on TikTok and Instagram. On Spotify, the original version has amassed over 12 million streams and is currently ILLIT’s third most popular track.

The collaboration stems from mutual admiration. Sophie first showed her fandom by participating in ILLIT’s dance challenge for their track “Tick‑Tack,” and later appeared on their web series to perform “Magnetic.” In return, ILLIT supported Sophie’s single “move with me,” choreographing viral routines of their own.

In an official press release, Sophie Powers shared her excitement about collaborating with the fast-rising K-pop group: “I watched the show they came from on Netflix and have loved seeing their journey from the very beginning,” she said. “This song is so special to me, and I hope it reminds people to chase their dreams the way ILLIT has.”

You can now stream “jellyous (feat. Sophie Powers)” on all major platforms.
