The wait is truly Finally Over. Summer Walker has officially announced her long-awaited third studio album, Finally Over It, set to arrive on November 14, through LVRN and Interscope Records. The project marks the third and final installment in her acclaimed Over It trilogy, following 2019’s Over It and 2021’s Still Over It.

The announcement follows more than a year of speculation surrounding Walker’s next move. In July 2024, the R&B star was spotted in the studio with a handwritten 19-track list, hinting at a new project. Then, on October 4, 2024 — the fifth anniversary of Over It — she posted a cryptic Spotify visual showing all three albums, teasing the final chapter. One week later, she officially unveiled the title, artwork, and lead single, “Heart of a Woman.”

Since her last full-length release, Still Over It (2021), Walker has kept busy collaborating with artists such as Usher, Ari Lennox, and Ciara, and releasing two acclaimed EPs: Clear 2: Soft Life (2023) and Clear: The Series (2023).

Still Over It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became the highest-charting album by a female R&B artist since Beyoncé’s Lemonade.
