Tonight, May 7, Tate McRae kicked off her Miss Possessive Tour—the first arena tour of her already successful career. The 21-year-old pop sensation is made for the stage, where she not only showcases her vocal talent but also captivates the audience with her dance moves. McRae wrapped up her Think Later World Tour at the end of 2024 after an impressive 64-show run. Without missing a beat, she launched into a new era, releasing her critically acclaimed third studio album, So Close to What, on February 21, 2025. Now, she’s embarking on her fifth tour.

The tour began with the European leg, with the opening show held at the MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. A preview of her new live performances came in March, when she played major festivals across South America. Building on those sets, McRae promised to elevate her show for the Miss Possessive Tour, emphasizing the leap from small venues to large arenas. “The biggest thing will be elevating the show to make it feel as big as the place that I’m in,” she told Interview Magazine.

And elevate it she did: for the opening night, she expanded the setlist—performing four more songs than on the Think Later Tour. In total, McRae delivered 22 tracks, moving across the stage and dividing the concert into five acts.
