As 2024 approaches, another year is in the books. In 2023, we witnessed the return of music industry giants hitting the road, bringing their music around the world. Undeniably, Taylor Swift has been the top touring artist this year, with her ‘The Eras Tour’ breaking numerous records. The tour’s impact extended far beyond the music, revitalizing the local economy of every city visited and boosting tourism and revenues for local shops. Beyoncé‘s ‘Renaissance Tour’ had a similar effect, with many praising Queen B’s performance and deeming it one of the best pop shows of the 21st century. Another commonality between the two tours was the release of successful concert films, with Swift’s film becoming the highest-grossing in history.

Aside from these two highly acclaimed tours, in 2023, Elton John concluded his final tour, ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road,’ after more than 300 shows since 2018. Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, and Harry Styles also showcased their talents around the world.

As 2023 comes to an end, it’s the perfect time to update the list of the highest-grossing concert tours of the 2020s.
