Taylor Swift continues her chart dominance in the United Kingdom as The Life Of A Showgirl returns to No. 1 on the Official Albums Chart, securing a fourth non-consecutive week at the summit. Upon its release, Showgirl delivered the biggest opening week of 2025, further cementing Swift as the international artist with the most UK No. 1 albums. Only The Beatles and Robbie Williams sit ahead of her, each with 15. In addition, Taylor also returns to the top of the UK Singles Chart with “The Fate of Ophelia.

Alongside Swift’s chart triumph, Rosalía sets a new milestone of her own. The Spanish artist earns the highest-ever UK chart position for a Spanish female artist as her fourth studio album LUX debuts at No. 4. The LP marks a significant creative shift for Rosalía, who blends orchestral elements, experimental electronic textures, and intimate songwriting. For comparison, her previous album Motomami peaked at No. 42 in 2022.






Elsewhere in the Top 10, Olivia Dean sees renewed momentum. Following her 2026 Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, her former chart-topper The Art Of Loving rises two spots to No. 2. Lily Allen’s West End Girl continues to hold steady, securing a third consecutive week in the Top 5.

Hayley Williams also celebrates a major return. Her third solo album Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party debuts at No. 10, marking her second Top 10 project apart from Paramore. Williams previously reached No. 4 with Petals For Armor.
