As tradition dictates, each month, InMusic selects sixteen new songs and invites fans to vote for their favorites through an Instagram poll. October is behind us, but its music still fills fans’ headphones. The tenth month brought us an exciting collaboration between Charli XCX and Ariana Grande. Featured on Charli’s remix album Brat, “Sympathy Is a Knife” has quickly become a fan favorite, earning it the title of InMusic’s song of the month for October. This wasn’t the only major collaboration: BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ teamed up with none other than Bruno Mars for the global hit “APT.” Two other BLACKPINK members also treated fans to new solo singles: LISA released “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” while JENNIE unveiled “Mantra.”
In addition, fans witnessed the return of a true pop icon, Lady Gaga. The 38-year-old star dropped “Disease,” the lead single from LG7, her upcoming seventh studio album scheduled for release in early 2025. October also saw fresh tracks from Halsey, Tyla, Gracie Abrams, and Tyler, the Creator, rounding out a month full of diverse and exciting releases.
