Last night (June 3rd), The Eras Tour visited France for the second time. While the first French shows were held in Paris, this time Taylor Swift performed in Lyon at the Groupama Stadium. Every concert of the Eras Tour is breaking records at each stadium visited, and the Groupama Stadium is no exception, as confirmed by Taylor herself during the second night: “Even though last night broke the attendance record for a female artist in this stadium, you broke that record!” Making the nights even more memorable for the attendees was the rain, which didn’t stop the superstar, who is known to love performing under the raindrops. “You guys are absolute heroes dancing around in the rain,” Taylor said to the crowd.

For this European leg of the Eras Tour, in the ‘Surprise Songs’ segment, Taylor usually performs a mashup of two or three songs, and that’s exactly what she did on both nights in Lyon. During the first concert, the pop star first sang a mix of “The Prophecy” and “Long Story Short,” followed by a mashup of “Fifteen” and “You’re On Your Own, Kid.” Last night, she performed a medley of “Glitch” and “Everything Has Changed” before enchanting the crowd with the first live performance of “Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus” from her new album “The Tortured Poets Department.”

After these two shows in Lyon, Taylor took to her Instagram to thank the French Swifties, looking ahead to her upcoming UK dates: “Merci, Lyon!! We loved playing for you, dancing with you, and singing with you in the rain! Yep, we had our first official RAIN SHOW of the European leg of The Eras Tour!! Loved every minute of both shows. See you soon, Edinburgh…” The Grammy winner is now heading to Scotland, where she will be performing three shows in Edinburgh this upcoming weekend. See below for the next dates of the Eras Tour.
