Taylor Swift is conquering Europe with her Eras Tour, and the latest stop was the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain. The “Fortnight” singer played two shows in front of thousands of Swifties in the home of Real Madrid on May 29th and 30th, closing out the first month of the European leg. As usual, Paramore served as the opening act for both shows. Taylor then entertained the crowd for the following three hours, exclaiming during night one, “You’re making me feel like tonight I get to play a sold-out show for over 65,000 people in Madrid!”
At every European show, the Grammy-winning singer debuted a new 1989 outfit inspired by the countries visited. For the Madrid shows, her outfit showcased the colors of the Spanish flag: red and yellow. Taylor has not performed in Spain since the 2011 Speak Now Tour and promised the crowd that she “will not ever stay away this long ever again!”
Since the beginning of the Eras Tour, Taylor has dedicated a segment of the show to delight fans with surprise songs. In the first Spanish show, she performed a mashup of “Sparks Fly” from “Speak Now” and “I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)” from “The Tortured Poets Department.” She then sang another mashup of “I Look in People’s Windows” and “Snow on the Beach” from “Midnights.” On the second night, she performed a mix of “Our Song” and “Jump then Fall,” followed by “King of My Heart.”

Taylor Swift is now heading to France, where she will play two shows in Lyon, before spending the whole of June in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The pop star will perform thirteen shows between Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, London, and Ireland. The London concerts, held at Wembley Stadium, will feature METTE, Griff, and Benson Boone as special guests during the opening sets. See below for the upcoming May and June dates for the Eras Tour:
