The mystery collaborator behind Tyla’s next single has finally been revealed. Zara Larsson is officially joining her on “She Did It Again,” set for release on Friday, April 17, marking one of the most anticipated pop crossovers of the year so far.
Both artists confirmed the news with a joint Instagram post unveiling the single’s artwork, ending days of speculation that had dominated fan spaces online. Early teasers had already pointed toward Larsson, but Tyla’s original rollout invited playful guessing, with fans editing in names like Bad Bunny, Shakira, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, Victoria Justice, and Hudson Williams in viral posts.
Clues linking the two had been building steadily throughout March. Tyla previously tagged Larsson using her track “Hot & Sexy,” prompting a now widely circulated reply—“My girrIlll”—that many interpreted as a soft confirmation.
The release also serves as a key step in Tyla’s next era. “She Did It Again” arrives as a new offering from her upcoming sophomore album A-Pop, a project she first confirmed during the 2026 Grammy Awards red carpet, where she secured her second win for Best African Music Performance. In recent interviews, Tyla has described the album as more intentional, reflecting both personal growth and a sharper creative direction at 24.
Sonically, early previews suggest a broader palette. A snippet of the unreleased track “Deep Down” hinted at a more experimental approach, while “Chanel” continues to gain traction globally.
