It’s been a while since Adele released new music. In November 2021, the British singer made a triumphant return with her fourth album, “30,” which arrived six years after “25.” Since then, she has been performing her concert residency—Weekends with Adele—at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which will conclude this fall. Additionally, this August, Adele will embark on a concert residency in Munich, Germany, performing at the Munich Messe every weekend of the month.

Ahead of the residency’s start, Adele discussed her future plans, revealing a desire to take a break from music to explore new creative pursuits once the residency wraps up. “I don’t have any plans for new music at all,” she said. “I want a big break after this, and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while.” This sentiment echoes her earlier statement from this year, where she mentioned that she will tour after releasing her next album, which likely won’t be soon. “I just don’t think I’m gonna write an album for quite some time… But next time I do, I’ll come to wherever it is you live.”
As mentioned, Adele’s latest album, “30,” was released nearly three years ago. The record, featuring the hit single “Easy on Me,” showcases the 36-year-old singer navigating motherhood, fame, and the impact of her divorce. The album achieved massive success, winning the Brit Award for British Album of the Year and becoming the best-selling album of the year.
