Fans have spoken, and Zach Bryan is leading the conversation this week. In our latest X poll tracking the most appreciated new releases of the moment, Bryan’s new album With Heaven on Top emerged as the clear favorite, claiming 40% of the vote and outpacing new offerings from Bruno Mars, The Kid LAROI, and A$AP Rocky.
Released on January 9, With Heaven on Top is Bryan’s sixth studio album and one of his most expansive projects to date. Spanning 25 tracks and nearly 80 minutes, the LP was written, recorded, and produced entirely by Bryan in a series of Oklahoma homes. Lyrically, Bryan circles themes of life on the road, emotional fatigue, sobriety, love, and quiet resilience, with moments of social reflection woven in. Tracks like “Bad News” hint at broader national tension, while the closing title track frames endurance as an act of grace. With Heaven on Top had an immediate impact, reaching the top spot on US Apple Music.
Bruno Mars followed in second place with 27% of the vote for “I Just Might,” the glossy lead single from his upcoming album The Romantic. The track marks a confident return to Mars’ retro-pop instincts, reminiscent of his last solo album 24K Magic.
The Kid LAROI secured 22% with Before I Forget, a deeply personal sophomore album. The project leans heavily into late-night R&B textures and reflective songwriting, rather than its earlier pop-rap sound. Meanwhile, A$AP Rocky’s experimental single “Punk Rocky” rounded out the poll at 11%, offering a chaotic, genre-blurring preview of his long-awaited album Don’t Be Dumb.
