Zara Larsson has officially announced her fifth studio album, Midnight Sun, set to arrive on September 26, 2025, through Sommer House. The new project follows closely on the heels of her 2024 album VENUS, marking her second full-length release in less than two years.
The Midnight Sun era kicked off with April’s lead single, “Pretty Ugly”—a bold and upbeat track that blends Zara’s signature pop sound with pointed lyrics about beauty standards and self-identity, capturing fans’ attention with its confident energy and sharp perspective.

The album’s official tracklist is still under wraps, but it has been confirmed that Midnight Sun will feature 10 tracks, including “Pretty Ugly” and the title track, which will be released next Friday, June 13. Recently, Zara shared a teaser for the song on TikTok, giving fans a first taste of its vibrant, dance-driven sound. The snippet has already sparked strong reactions online, with some hailing it as a summer anthem in the making.
Zara has also unveiled the official artwork, featuring herself in a lush, dreamlike outdoor setting that evokes a magical, almost surreal atmosphere.
