Cardi B is not slowing down. In the middle of her first headlining arena run, the rapper revealed during a recent livestream that new music is already in motion — and she plans to record it on the road.
“I’m gonna start working on new music this week. My studio tour bus just came in,” she told fans, confirming she has invested in a custom tour bus equipped with a professional recording setup. The move allows her to write and record while traveling between dates on the Little Miss Drama Tour.
The tour supports her sophomore album, Am I the Drama?. It launched on February 11, 2026, in Palm Desert, California, and is scheduled to run through mid-April. The North American itinerary includes stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Chicago, Toronto, and a major night at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Early dates have generated strong word of mouth, amplified by surprise appearances. In Los Angeles, Cardi welcomed Tyla, Kehlani, Blueface, and GloRilla to the stage.
The livestream comments also reinforce that a third album is no longer a distant idea. In late 2025, Cardi spoke during a Spaces conversation about the lessons learned while crafting Am I the Drama?. She admitted that overthinking extended the project’s timeline to nearly seven years. This time, she wants instinct to lead. “One thing I’mma do for my next project or my next song, I kinda just wanna go with something that makes me feel good and makes me happy,” she explained. “I super, super, super overthink. And the songs people like are the songs that to me were just a breeze to do.”
That reflection arrives at a peak moment. Am I the Drama? debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making Cardi the only female rapper whose first two albums opened atop the chart. The project later became the highest-certified female rap album of the 2020s and spent eight weeks inside the Billboard 200’s top ten — the longest such run for a female rap release this decade.
