Isaiah Rashad is heading back on the road. On June 16, the Top Dawg Entertainment rapper announced the Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip Tour, a North American run supporting his third studio album, It’s Been Awful, with rising artist Alemada joining as the special guest.

The tour arrives just weeks after the release of It’s Been Awful, which dropped on May 1 via TDE and Warner Records and debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200. For Rashad, the trek marks his most extensive headlining outing since launching this latest chapter of his career, bringing the deeply personal themes of the album directly to fans across the United States and Canada.

It’s Been Awful represents Rashad’s first studio album since 2021’s The House Is Burning. The project features contributions from SZA, Dominic Fike, and Julian Sintonia, while production comes from a wide range of collaborators including Kal Banx, Hollywood Cole, Jansport J, and Julian Sintonia. The album’s title first surfaced in March 2026 when fans received cryptic notecards with merchandise orders from Top Dawg Entertainment, months before the official announcement arrived on April 7.

The Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip Tour kicks off in Atlanta on August 13 before making stops in major markets including New York, Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
