The livestream arrives after Ye’s first Arnhem performance on June 6 drew enormous attention both inside and outside the stadium. The concert marked his first performance in the Netherlands since 2013 and his second major European stadium appearances in more than a decade. Demand proved extraordinary, with reports indicating that more than 450,000 people entered online ticket queues for a venue capable of accommodating roughly 40,000 fans per night.

Musically, the opening show closely followed the format of Ye’s recent concert at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium on May 30. He opened with “King” before moving through a career-spanning setlist that blended classic material with songs from BULLY, his latest album released on March 28.

Production also played a major role in the spectacle. The concert utilized Ye’s Earth-inspired stage design, featuring a massive rotating globe installation positioned at the center of the stadium floor. Combined with pyrotechnics, large-scale projections, and immersive visual effects, the setup transformed GelreDome into one of the most ambitious live productions of his recent career.

The Arnhem concerts represent a significant chapter in Ye’s ongoing European return. Several previously planned appearances across the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Poland, and Italy reportedly failed to materialize, making the Netherlands one of the few countries hosting his current stadium run.
