BTS may be gearing up for another chapter of the ARIRANG era. The group has sparked widespread speculation after simultaneously updating their profile pictures and headers across every major social media platform, with one mysterious word immediately capturing fans’ attention: “Lamron.”
The unexpected change has led many ARMY members to believe BTS is finally preparing to release the long-awaited music video for “Normal,” a visual that has been teased before but has yet to officially arrive.
“Lamron” quickly became a trending topic after fans noticed it is simply “Normal” spelled backward. That detail immediately fueled theories that the cryptic branding is connected to the song, especially since BTS previously hinted that a music video for “Normal” was part of the ARIRANG rollout. Neither BTS nor Big Hit Music has officially confirmed what the teaser means, but the timing has intensified speculation.
The possible teaser arrives less than a month after BTS released the “Merry Go Round” music video on June 19. The visual debuted exclusively for Spotify Premium subscribers through the platform’s K-Pop ON! Hub and BTS’ official artist page, becoming the fourth official music video from the ARIRANG era following “Swim,” “2.0,” and “Hooligan.”
Activity surrounding ARIRANG has remained constant throughout 2026. BTS FESTA ran from June 4 through June 13 to celebrate the group’s 13th anniversary, featuring content including BTS Family Photo, B Side Film, Normal Log, and the return of Run BTS! 2.0. On June 12, the group also surprised fans with “Come Over,” which quickly climbed into Spotify’s Global Top 20.
Commercially, the comeback continues rewriting history. Earlier this week, ARIRANG became the first album by a Korean act to spend 12 consecutive weeks inside the top 10 of the Billboard 200, extending BTS’ record-breaking run in the United States. Released on March 20 through Big Hit Music, the project debuted at No. 1, giving the group its seventh Billboard 200 chart-topper.
