Tinashe has just dropped her highly anticipated seventh album, Quantum Baby. In 2024, the R&B star has been riding a wave of renewed success, largely due to the album’s lead single, “Nasty,” which was released in April. The track quickly caught fire on social media, with its music video and Tinashe’s dance moves going viral on TikTok. “Nasty” also made its mark on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 61.
Quantum Baby, also known as BB/Ang3l Pt. 2 – Quantum Baby, was released independently through Tinashe’s own label, Tinashe Music, in partnership with Nice Life Recording Company. The album is the second installment in a trilogy that the 31-year-old singer began in 2023 with BB/Ang3l. With just eight tracks and a total runtime of 22 minutes, Quantum Baby showcases Tinashe’s unique allure and her signature sultry vocals in a captivating listening experience.
