Tinashe kicked off her “Three Nights With a Popstar” concert series on October 16, at The Salt Shed in Chicago, bringing her new album to the stage. The limited run supports Popstar, her eighth studio album, which earned the 33-year-old singer her first-ever top 10 entry on the Billboard 200 following its September 25 release.
Announced in July, the three-date series continues October 24 at Brooklyn Paramount before concluding November 7 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The Chicago setlist draws heavily from Popstar, with tracks including “Popstar,” “Melatonin,” “Crash Out,” “Too Easy,” “Sunglasses,” “Empty Stadiums” and “I’d Rather Be Alone.” The new material sits alongside songs from across her catalog.
Earlier releases represented in the performance include “Bouncin” and “Shy Guy” from 333, “Link Up” from Songs for You, and “Gravity” and “Needs” from BB/ANG3L. Tinashe also revisited Quantum Baby with “Nasty,” “Getting No Sleep” and “No Broke Boys.”
Released through Nice Life, Atlantic Records and Tinashe Music, Popstar contains 16 tracks blending pop, R&B, electronic music and dance influences. Its production credits include Ricky Reed, Zach Sekoff, Arca, Machinedrum and Kingdom, reflecting her continued interest in combining club-oriented sounds with more experimental textures.
The project also delivered a significant commercial milestone. Popstar debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 with 35,500 equivalent album units, surpassing the No. 17 peak previously achieved by her 2014 debut, Aquarius.
