Ariana Grande’s return to the stage has officially become one of the hottest live music events in recent memory. Tickets for the North American leg of her Eternal Sunshine Tour went on general sale this morning at 10 a.m., and within minutes, every seat was gone.
Fans logged onto Ticketmaster in the thousands, forming virtual queues in hopes of securing a spot. But by the time many reached checkout, the site was already flashing the dreaded “sold out” message. Across social media, frustration was immediate and widespread. One fan wrote on X/Twitter: “WDYM IT SOLD OUT IN 13 MINUTES ARE U SHITTING ME!” Another shared, “I lost both the presale and general sale war. No one talk to me rn.”

The chaos follows an unprecedented presale earlier this week, where more than 6 million fans queued for tickets across North America. Even after Grande added nine new shows to meet demand—including stops in Oakland, Los Angeles, Austin, Sunrise, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, Montreal, and Chicago—supply still fell far short of demand.
The Eternal Sunshine Tour marks Grande’s first global trek in seven years, following 2019’s record-breaking Sweetener World Tour, which grossed over $146 million. The new run launches June 6, 2026, in Oakland, before heading to multiple-night residencies in Los Angeles, Brooklyn, and Boston. From there, the superstar will cross the Atlantic for a historic five-night residency at London’s O2 Arena in August.
The tour supports Ariana’s critically acclaimed album Eternal Sunshine and its deluxe edition Brighter Days Ahead. Both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while singles like “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” stormed to No. 1 on the Hot 100. Beyond chart success, her Brighter Days Ahead short film recently earned Video of the Year at the 2025 MTV VMAs.
