Not much is known about “C, XOXO” yet. Camila has been working on her fourth album since 2022, as evidenced by an old Instagram post where fans noticed titles of recorded voice notes, “Chords to that verse.” Last March 27th, the Cuba-born singer unleashed the lead single from the album. Featuring rapper Playboi Carti, “I Luv It” completely departs from her previous work, mainly in the Pop genre, embracing hyperpop. Talking about the song, Camila said, “Certain things in our human realm make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them… Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion. It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I luv it.” “I Luv It,” which interpolates Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade,” debuted at No. 81 on the Billboard Hot 100 and peaked at No. 61 on the UK Singles chart. A fan-appreciated music video was also released. While the official tracklist hasn’t been unveiled yet, fans can definitely expect to hear at least one more single before June 28th.
