Cardi B is turning heads once again. The Bronx-born rapper has previewed a new track, “Bodega Baddie,” on TikTok, giving fans another taste of her upcoming sophomore album Am I The Drama?, set for release on September 18.
The snippet quickly went viral, not just for the music but for Cardi’s bold visual choice. In the TikTok clip, she sports a fake pregnancy bump, a move that instantly fueled conversation online. While some viewers initially speculated about whether the star was making a personal announcement, it soon became clear that the prop was a strategic marketing twist.

The preview comes just weeks before Cardi’s long-awaited comeback album drops. Am I The Drama? will be her first full-length release since her Grammy-winning 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy, an album that cemented her as one of hip-hop’s biggest names. With 23 tracks on the project, the record was preceded by two singles: “Outside” and “Imaginary Playerz.” The latter samples Jay-Z’s 1997 classic.
Cardi also recently confirmed that her first tour in years is on the way, teasing fans during an Instagram Live that dates will be announced “very, very soon.” It will mark her first major run since 2019, when she performed at arenas and festivals worldwide.
