Lady Gaga is extending the MAYHEM era once again. The pop icon officially announced MAYHEM Requiem, a new concert film and live special arriving exclusively on Apple Music on May 14 at 8 p.m. PT.
Teased with the tagline “MAYHEM like you’ve never seen before,” the newly released trailer leans heavily into the darker theatricality that defined both the MAYHEM album cycle and the record-breaking Mayhem Ball Tour.
The announcement arrives just weeks after Gaga closed the final night of the Mayhem Ball Tour at Madison Square Garden on April 13, 2026. During that closing performance, she first hinted that a special companion project connected to the tour would follow. Fans now have confirmation that MAYHEM Requiem serves as that next chapter.
Commercially, MAYHEM became one of the defining pop releases of 2025, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and delivering one of the biggest opening week for a female album that year. The project later earned Gaga the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album while also securing an Album of the Year nomination at the 68th Grammy Awards.
Its supporting tour ultimately pushed her career into unprecedented territory. According to Billboard Boxscore, the Mayhem Ball Tour grossed $419.5 million across 93 headline shows while selling nearly two million tickets worldwide. That figure officially made it the highest-grossing tour of Gaga’s career, surpassing the legendary Monster Ball Tour, which previously stood as her commercial touring peak with $227 million earned between 2009 and 2011.
Globally, the Mayhem Ball now ranks among the highest-grossing tours ever recorded.
