After weeks of speculation, Louis Tomlinson has finally addressed the rumors that he may be teaming up with former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik. The tease came during Tomlinson’s new iHeartRadio interview, where he was directly asked about whispers of a collaboration.
With a grin, Tomlinson responded: “Yeah, yeah. I heard that. I heard that. I thought that was pretty interesting, yeah… Pretty astute. I suppose they’ll just have to wait and see, yeah!”
The answer—playful but far from a denial—has only added fuel to the fire that the two may be working on something together, marking what could be their first official project since One Direction went on hiatus in 2016.

Tour, which will take him across Europe, the UK, and North America in 2026. The tour kicks off on March 23 in Hamburg, Germany, and runs through July 24 in Miami, Florida. Along the way, he will headline arenas in major cities like London, Paris, Milan, New York, and Los Angeles. Highlights include stops at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in New York and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
The tour follows the release of his highly anticipated third studio album, How Did I Get Here?, due January 23, 2026. The 12-track album features lead single “Lemonade,” released September 30, and has been described by Tomlinson as his most optimistic project yet. Inspired by his time in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, the record was produced by Nico Rebscher and marks the follow-up to Faith in the Future (2022), which debuted at No. 1 in the UK and No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
