Olivia Rodrigo continues her UK chart dominance as You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love holds at No. 1 on the Official UK Albums Chart for a second consecutive week. The album extends its opening impact after debuting with 103,000 units in its first frame, marking the biggest UK opening of her career and reinforcing her third straight chart-topping album in the territory.

The performance pushed Rodrigo further into rare international chart territory at age 23, becoming the youngest overseas artist since Britney Spears in 2004 to surpass 100,000 first-week UK sales with a studio release. Three tracks from the project also remain in the top 10 on the Singles Chart, with “stupid song” holding at No. 2, “the cure” at No. 4, and “drop dead” at No. 5.

Attention also turns to the singles chart, where Sam Fender and Olivia Dean’s “Rein Me In” has now spent its 14th non-consecutive week at No. 1 on the Official UK Singles Chart after rebounding back to the summit. The collaboration now matches Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” each also holding 14 weeks at No. 1, placing it among the most enduring chart-toppers in UK history.

Within the context of the 2020s, the track now stands as the longest-running No. 1 single of the decade, overtaking Alex Warren’s “Ordinary.” Another week at the top would push it into even more historic company, drawing level with Wet Wet Wet’s “Love Is All Around,” which remains the UK single with the most weeks at No. 1 of all time.
