Fortnite is gearing up for another major music crossover, as Playboi Carti is officially set to arrive in the game on Thursday, December 11. Epic Games confirmed the launch on its @Fortnite X account last week with the post, “FN x PBC. 12.11.25. #FortniteSeven,” using the MM.DD.YY format to make the rollout unmistakable. The announcement quickly generated excitement across Carti’s fanbase and the Fortnite community.
A second teaser followed just days later, on December 7, further heightening anticipation. Captioned, “I can’t believe my eyes, like, how do I see? See for yourself. Thursday,” the clip shows a shadowy silhouette strongly resembling Carti in his “Evil Jordan” music video.
Early reports indicate that the collaboration will include a full Playboi Carti skin bundle, featuring two distinct styles, themed accessories, new emotes, and the “EVIL J0RDAN” Jam Track.
Playboi Carti becomes the latest musician to join a long list of stars who have crossed into Fortnite’s universe. Previous Icon Series additions include Marshmello, Travis Scott, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, and most recently LISA of BLACKPINK — each bringing a unique aesthetic and often marking a cultural moment within the game.
