Playboi Carti is officially back on stage. After years of delays, cancellations, and high anticipation, the rapper has launched his Antagonist 2.0 Tour with a massive first-night performance in Salt Lake City, Utah (October 3). The tour, spanning 31 dates across major U.S. arenas, will run through December 1, when Carti closes in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.
The trek supports Carti’s long-awaited third studio album, Music, which dropped on March 14, via AWGE and Interscope. The project became his fastest-selling record yet, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 298,000 album-equivalent units. Packed with 30 tracks and collaborations from Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Jhené Aiko, Skepta, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, and Young Thug, the album marked Carti’s biggest commercial success since Whole Lotta Red (2020).

But while Music was a triumph, fans had been eagerly awaiting the chance to see Carti live again. His Antagonist Tour was first announced in July 2023 as a global arena run, only to be pushed back multiple times before the North American and European legs were scrapped altogether. In the meantime, Carti joined The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour as an opener in 2024 and 2025, keeping his stage presence alive while building momentum for his own return.
Carti wasted no time delivering a high-energy set stacked with fan favorites and new album cuts. The first show featured a 30-song performance, including highlights like “Stop Breathing,” “Rockstar Made,” “Long Time,” and new tracks from Music. He closed with an explosive run of “Pop Out” before ending on “South Atlanta Baby.”
