Sabrina Carpenter’s seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, has officially set a new streaming benchmark, earning the biggest debut for a female album on Spotify this year. With over 64.4 million streams on its first day, the album surpasses Sabrina’s previous release, Short n’ Sweet, which debuted with more than 57 million streams.

The album’s success is not only impressive overall but also historic on a track level. The LP’s second single, “Tears,” debuted with 9.2 million first-day streams, marking the biggest opening for a song by a female artist on the global Spotify chart in 2025. Beyond the lead track, nearly the entire project dominated the chart, with all songs landing in the top 20.
