Taylor Swift is far from done with The Life of a Showgirl. In a new interview with Heart Radio, the pop icon shared her excitement about continuing to expand the world of her record-breaking twelfth studio album — and hinted that more music videos are on the way.
“We just started this era,” Swift said. “I love this era! I love this theme of this album — it’s so fun to play with. I want to make more music videos. I actually have time to do stuff like that.”

The statement comes as The Life of a Showgirl continues to dominate the global charts and break records across every major platform. Released on October 3, the album has already sold over 2.7 million copies in the U.S. in its first 24 hours, according to Billboard and data tracking firm Luminate. That total marks the second-largest single-week sales figure in modern history — trailing only Adele’s 25 (2015) — and the biggest ever for Swift.
Beyond its sales, The Life of a Showgirl is also redefining streaming milestones. The album earned 259 million first-day streams on Spotify, making it the most-streamed album of 2025 so far and the second-biggest debut ever, behind Swift’s own The Tortured Poets Department. Its lead single, “The Fate of Ophelia,” shattered Spotify’s all-time single-day record for any track, debuting with 30.9 million streams.
