Tinashe is bringing her new era directly to fans with a trio of intimate live performances this fall. The R&B star announced Three Nights With A Popstar, a special run of shows taking place in Chicago, Brooklyn and Los Angeles ahead of the release of her upcoming new album POPSTAR.
The three performances are scheduled for October 16 in Chicago, October 24 in Brooklyn, New York, and November 7 in Los Angeles. Fans can access the artist pre-sale beginning July 22 at 10 a.m. PST using the password “POPSTAR,” while general ticket sales open on July 24 through Tinashe’s official website.
The announcement comes less than a week after Tinashe confirmed that her eighth studio album, POPSTAR, will arrive on September 25, 2026. At the same time, she released the project’s second single, “CRASH OUT,” continuing the rollout that began with “Too Easy” in June.
POPSTAR will feature 16 tracks and serves as the concluding chapter of the trilogy that started with BB/Ang3l in 2023 and continued through Quantum Baby in 2024.
The previous installment, Quantum Baby, marked one of the strongest commercial releases of her independent career. Released on August 16, 2024, the album featured the viral hit “Nasty,” along with “Getting No Sleep” and “No Broke Boys.” It debuted at No. 199 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 23 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart before being supported by the Match My Freak World Tour across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom.
“Too Easy” officially launched the POPSTAR era after first gaining traction during Tinashe’s DJ set at Coachella’s Do LaB stage in April. Its release, followed by “CRASH OUT,” has fueled anticipation for the album, with fans now getting their first opportunity to experience the new material live through Three Nights With A Popstar.
