Beatrice Kristi Laus — better known as beabadoobee — has become one of the most unique voices in indie rock and bedroom pop. Born in the Philippines and raised in London, she first gained attention with her raw and nostalgic lo-fi songs recorded in her bedroom. It all started with “Coffee” in 2017 — a soft, acoustic love song that went viral on SoundCloud and later resurfaced in Powfu’s TikTok hit “Death Bed.”
Since then, beabadoobee’s sound has grown bolder and louder. Her debut album Fake It Flowers (2020) leaned into grunge, early-2000s alt rock, and the vulnerability of teenage emotions. Follow-up projects like Beatopia (2022) saw her exploring dreamy soundscapes, shoegaze influences, and even a touch of psychedelia. She’s toured with The 1975 and Taylor Swift, collaborated with artists like Clairo and Laufey, and continues to defy expectations with each release.
If you’ve been quietly obsessed with her guitar-driven tracks, poetic lyrics, and Y2K visuals — this quiz is for you. Let’s see how well you really know Bea.
