After more than a decade of anticipation, The Fall-Off has arrived. Released today, February 6, J. Cole’s seventh studio album lands as the closing chapter of a career he has carefully shaped on his own terms. Considered by the rapper to be his final album, The Fall-Off arrives as a double album—Disc 29 and Disc 39—each featuring 11 tracks.
Cole has described the album as a ten-year personal challenge. “For the past 10 years, this album has been handcrafted with one intention: a personal challenge to myself to create my best work,” he wrote. “To do on my last what I was unable to do on my first.”
The Fall-Off is Cole’s first full-length studio release since The Off-Season in 2021, an album that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rap Album.
The Fall-Off is out now on all major streaming platforms.
