Yuna steps into her solo era with Ice Cream, a debut mini-album that translates ITZY’s high-energy identity into a bright, tightly packaged pop statement. Released on March 23, 2026, the project introduces her individual sound while staying rooted in the vibrant aesthetic that defined her rise within ITZY.

The title track “Ice Cream” sets the tone immediately, leaning into bubblegum pop with an explosive hook and glossy production. Its structure mirrors the group’s signature formula—fast-paced, confident, and performance-driven—while allowing Yuna’s tone to take center stage. That same sonic palette extends across much of the mini-album, creating a cohesive listening experience built on upbeat rhythms and polished melodies.

Momentum remains consistent through the project’s brighter cuts, where Yuna’s delivery balances charm and control. Tracks lean heavily on catchy refrains and energetic arrangements.

A notable shift arrives with “Blue Maze,” the EP’s most restrained moment. Stripping back the high-energy framework, the track introduces a softer, dreamier atmosphere that highlights a different side of her artistry. Vocally, it offers more space and nuance.

Yuna becomes the second member to debut solo under JYP Entertainment, following Yeji’s 2025 mini-album Air. That project set a precedent for individual exploration within the group, and Ice Cream continues that expansion while maintaining a clear connection to ITZY’s core identity.
