KATSEYE are having a breakout moment. With their new EP Beautiful Chaos, the six-member global group continues their fast rise to the top of the pop world. Released via HYBE, UMG, and Geffen Records, this second project cements KATSEYE not just as emerging talent—but as one of the most exciting young groups in music today. They’re versatile, fearless, and clearly built for longevity.

Formed in 2023 on The Debut: Dream Academy and officially debuting in 2024, KATSEYE consists of Manon Bannerman, Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Megan Skiendiel, Jeong Yoon-chae, and Sophia Laforteza. Their first EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) introduced them with a polished sound and confident visuals, led by the hit single “Touch.” It charted globally, even reaching No. 119 on the Billboard 200. But Beautiful Chaos marks a creative leap. It’s more focused, more dynamic, and more emotionally layered.

The EP explores what it means to grow up in today’s hyper-connected world. With five tracks—including the already buzzing singles “Gnarly” and “Gabriela”—Beautiful Chaos finds its place among the best EPs—if not the best—of the first half of 2025. Here is our ranking of the five tracks from KATSEYE’s Beautiful Chaos.
