Bruno Mars returned to the stage on April 10 with the launch of his long-awaited Romantic Tour in Las Vegas, delivering a nearly 30-song set that blended fresh material with career-defining hits. The opening night at Park MGM marked his first major global trek in years and signaled the start of one of 2026’s biggest touring runs.
Opening with tracks from his newly released fourth studio album The Romantic, Mars wasted no time establishing the show’s tone—slick, theatrical, and tightly choreographed. New cuts like “Risk It All” and “I Just Might,” which recently climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, sat seamlessly alongside staples such as “Treasure,” “Just the Way You Are,” and “Leave the Door Open,” the latter originally released with Anderson .Paak as part of Silk Sonic.
Throughout the night, Mars leaned into his signature charisma, balancing polished showmanship with spontaneous humor. At one point, he joked directly with .Paak—who joins the tour in his DJ Pee .Wee persona—quipping, “I’m debt-free… I paid the casino off a long time ago.” Later, referencing the tour’s record-breaking demand, he added, “I left her one ticket at the box office… I thought she was gonna come.”
The Romantic Tour arrives following a historic ticketing surge. According to Live Nation, the run moved 2.1 million tickets in a single day, marking the largest sales volume in the company’s history. Spanning 70 dates across North America, Europe, and the UK, the tour is Mars’ first full headline run in nearly a decade and follows his extended Las Vegas residency in 2025. Supporting acts further elevate the lineup, with Leon Thomas, RAYE, and Victoria Monét scheduled to appear on select dates. Following the Las Vegas opener, the tour continues across North America for seven weeks before heading to Europe in June.
