Manon of KATSEYE has revealed the group’s dream collaboration, and it is one that already feels creatively aligned. In a new interview with People, the singer shared that KATSEYE hopes to work with Charli xcx again in the future, calling the pop innovator a major inspiration for the group’s sound and identity.
“I just recently met her, and I think we all really hope to work with her more in the future,” Manon said. “She’s definitely a KATSEYE girlie, and we’re in love with Brat and everything about her. She’s such an inspiration to us. We don’t know what the future holds, but we’re definitely, definitely super into that idea.”
The connection between KATSEYE and Charli xcx is not merely aspirational. Their creative paths have already crossed in meaningful ways. Charli attended KATSEYE’s Los Angeles concert in late 2025, where she was photographed alongside Manon and ADELÁ. More significantly, Charli xcx is credited as a writer on KATSEYE’s breakout hit “Gabriela,” a track that has become a defining hit in the group’s rapid rise.
Released on June 20, 2025, “Gabriela” served as the second single from KATSEYE’s EP Beautiful Chaos. The song delivered major commercial success, reaching the top ten in multiple countries, peaking at No. 16 on the Billboard Global 200, and breaking into the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. It also earned a nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
Originally written years earlier and passed between several artists, including Anitta, Rita Ora, and even Little Mix, “Gabriela” ultimately found its home with KATSEYE.
