Spotify is giving Olivia Rodrigo fans a front-row replay of one of 2026’s defining pop moments. On Tuesday (May 27), the platform premiered Billions Club Live with Olivia Rodrigo: A Concert Film, an exclusive performance film capturing the singer’s intimate May 8 show at Barcelona’s historic Teatre Grec.

Filmed in front of just 1,500 top Spotify listeners, the concert offered Rodrigo’s first full live showcase of the you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love era ahead of the album’s June 12 release via Geffen Records. The release arrives weeks after Barcelona became the center of a major cultural crossover moment for the singer, with her Spotify partnership extending beyond the stage through FC Barcelona’s special El Clásico jersey activation featuring her “OR” logo.

The 14-song set balanced every phase of Rodrigo’s catalog while underscoring her rare dominance on streaming platforms. Performances of “drivers license,” “good 4 u,” and “vampire” highlighted the milestones that placed her among Spotify’s youngest artists with nine songs surpassing one billion streams. SOUR now ties for the second-most Billions Club entries for a single album, with seven tracks crossing the billion-stream threshold.

Still, the emotional centerpiece of the film is “drop dead,” which received its first-ever live concert performance that night. Released April 17, the single debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Rodrigo the first artist to send the lead singles from her first three studio albums straight to the chart’s summit. The performance instantly went viral, fueled by social clips of Rodrigo’s now-iconic babydoll dress and her repeated interactions with fans throughout the evening.

That intimacy became one of the defining images of the Barcelona show. Videos circulating across X and TikTok captured Rodrigo hugging concertgoers, reacting to chants of “guapa y reina,” and sharing unscripted moments that gave the event the atmosphere of a fan gathering rather than a corporate streaming celebration. The crowd also delivered the now-famous “bad idea right?” mute challenge, recreating one of the signature audience traditions carried over from the GUTS Tour.

The concert film lands during an explosive stretch for Rodrigo. Yesterday (May 26), she unveiled the full tracklist for you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. Its latest single, “The Cure,” debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Daily Global chart with 7.215 million streams on May 22, marking her second global chart-topping debut of 2026 after “drop dead.”
